Reading and re-visiting Freud the other day, along with the discussion of my dreams with a couple of people, lead me to watching the film Waking Life.
While watching the film I thought: Maybe the music, art, film, and writing we connect with and the dreams we discover and experience are a means to be closer to the id; the place where we explore our forbidden and censored appetites and desires.
Children have greater access to the realm we forget.
A friend of mine from work asked me to put pictures in my blog. These pictures reveal the magic of children and the understanding of the things in life we tend to ignore or forget.

waking life is good, u should check out scanner darkly. richard linklater directs it. it has more of a linear plot, but it is layered with the animation over live action again. both movies have hilarious monologues from Alex Jones.

I find the whole Alex Jones thing interesting. One of my favorite bands, Megadeth (in case you haven`t guessed ;)) has one of their albums named after Alex Jones`documentary called Endgame. It`s very strange but intriguing to me. I`ll check out Scanner Darkly. Thanks!
